Our campaigns
Measure the risk. Write it down. Protect the child.
Welfare reports can still be given orally, with no written record and no measured assessment of risk. We are asking Parliament to require a written, quantified risk assessment and a risk mitigation strategy in every section 7 report.
Both parents, recognised. Children, protected.
Too many children wait months or years for their father to be recognised in law. We propose that parental responsibility is granted at the first hearing once parentage is established, unless there are serious, defined reasons not to.
Why it matters
Gut feeling lets danger in and shuts safety out. Structured, written assessment guards against both.
The Children Act says delay is likely to harm a child. Basic decisions should be made early, not left for years.
Every child deserves the protection of both parents, unless there is real evidence of risk.
